JobsDB is a well-known online employment portal operating throughout Southeast Asia and China. Their Jakarta office is advertising a full time Data Analyst position for a candidate with suitable skills in quantitative research and analysis.

The key responsibilities of the role will be to:

  • Assist Sales teams with creating, delivering & evolving existing reports as well as developing new reports with support of JobsDB systems and processes
  • Provide historical analysis and trend forecasts and conduct regular and ad-hoc analysis of information to deliver insights that assist in developing and executing a range of strategies that contribute to the achievement of business goals
  • Drive effectiveness and efficiency in reports and process by identifying opportunity, working with IT as required for system changes where appropriate and enhancements, and implementing these with full stakeholder support
  • Ensure the integrity of the data within the CRM by conducting compliance reporting for Sales and Customer Support
  • Assist with cleansing of data within the CRM as required for commission payout and reporting purpose
  • Respond to ad hoc data requests; ensure client information is up-to-date and accurate, disseminate data to sales teams as and when needed

This position is suitable for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Degree holder in related field (Statistic, Mathematic), minimum 2 years experience in an analytical role
  • Strong analytical thinker; demonstrating proactive, problem solving initiative
  • Advanced Ms Excel, data mining and modelling skills
  • Able to work with imperfect data
  • Passionate about reporting improvement; identifying, evaluating and implementing
  • Must be able to work independently to timelines; effectively prioritising workload demands and competing tasks to achieve key objectives
  • Strong grasp of detail, meticulous; able draw out key understandings/ conclusions to ensure accuracy
