Swiss-based LGT Venture Philanthropy (LGT-VP) is a philanthropic fund forming part of the LGT Group, the asset management firm of the royal family of Liechtenstein.

The Indonesia office of LGT-VP is seeking to recruit an Investment Manager (to be based in Jakarta) to shape and implement the fund’s philanthropic strategies in Indonesia. LGT-VP seeks candidates who, among other things, possess:

• 3-7 years of overall experience, including at least 3 years of investment experience with financial and operational due-diligence ([private equity]/[venture capital] deal execution experience in Indonesia/ Southeast Asia) and potentially has 2 or more years of business consulting/operations experience in early stage companies in Southeast Asia
• Intuitive understanding of early stage business models and different entrepreneurial styles and an innate ability to strike strong working relationships with entrepreneurs and a variety of stakeholders that form their eco-system, such as banks or finance organizations, sector experts or policymakers
• Proven track record of providing support to businesses at multiple levels including operations, strategy and governance, through working with a variety of portfolio companies or through working directly in a key role within an organization; sector knowledge in specific thematic areas will be an advantage.
