Sulawesi Selatan
Some may say Sulawesi Selatan is an unusual destination for an AIYA Chapter but since its establishment in 2017 AIYA SulSel has gone from strength to strength. The Chapter was created thanks to the 2016-17 cohort of the Australia-Indonesia Youth Exchange Program (AIYEP) and was proudly supported by the Australian Consulate General, Makassar. Committee Members

Tika is currently taking a role as AIYA Sulawesi Selatan Chapter President and has been involved in the chapter since 2020 as Event Officer. She is currently working at one of the Retail companies based in Australia (Remote). She is actively involved in various organizations and participates in volunteer activities engaged in extensive education and social humanity. She hopes her involvement with AIYA will be a great opportunity to connect with inspiring young people from both countries.
Andi Mustika Azimah
Chapter President

Richard is an English Literature student at Universitas Hasanuddin. Currently, taking a role as AIYA Sulawesi Selatan Chapter Vice President. Richard spends his time by involved in a language community, such as being a facilitator of Focus Group Discussion. He has high curiosity about self-development which made him joined AIYA.

Since in medical school, Wiwi is active in volunteering and social activities. She loves to treat patients while organize some events. She realizes that being a medical doctor means to help others in health services. Get involved with AIYA will provide her new experience, new friends, and enhance her knowledge of both countries, especially in health sector.
Nurhatimah Fratiwi Tang
Treasurer

Balqis has been joining AIYA Chapter Sulawesi Selatan as Communication Officer since 2022. She obtained her bachelor degree in civil engineering from Universitas Gadjah Mada and is now working as a geotechnical engineer. Her plan to continue her study in Australia someday has motivated her to learn many things about Australia cultures. Other than working and volunteering at AIYA, Balqis loves experimenting with graphic design and digital drawing. She also enjoys drawing and gaining thousands of walk steps by strolling around in her leisure time.
Balqis Sukma Pertiwi
Communications Officer

Ilham is a Law student at Institut Agama Islam Negeri Bone. In her daily life, Zas spends her time actively involved in a social activity and humanitarian, such as being one of mentor for children who live in small alley called Perpustakaan Lorong also participating in some organization as companion of children with special needs. By joining AIYA, she believes that AIYA is a right place to learn, self-development and build new connection with Australian fellows.
Muhammad Ilham Jayenuddin
Events Officer

Mutmainnah Amil is a graduate of University Muhammadiyah Makassar, taking an english education major. Currently, she is working as a teacher at one of the private school in Gowa. Apart from her job as a teacher, she is also actively involved in several organizations and participates in volunteer activites and being humanitarian worker related to education and social in Makassar. She believes, AIYA is the right place to improve herself, wider her insight and boost her confidence.
Mutmainnah Amil

Akbar is a student of Hasanuddin University and majoring in Forestry. With the skills he has acquired through internal and external organizations, as well as several volunteers, he still needs to expand his connections and relationships with more stakeholders, one of which is by joining AIYA. AIYA which is a liaison organization between Australian youth and Indonesian youth in the fields of culture, education and others so that it is the right organization for him to learn, develop and apply these new things into various real actions.

Aisyah holds a bachelor degree in Public Health. Her biggest goal is to study and work abroad. She continuously working to achieve her goal by learning about different culture and making connection. She believes that as a part of AIYA, she can contribute to and connect with youth both countries.
Aisyah Meydhika Amar
Communications Officer

Sultan or some poeple call him with el. In his daily life he is an English teacher, he also works with the the city government to be active in various events accompanying state guests and honors as a translator. Sultan enjoys learning languages, by joining AIYA he hopes to gain more connections and experience.
