- The Australian Federal Election has been announced for Saturday 3 May 2025. If you’re an Australian citizen overseas on the day of the election, you can still have your say by voting at on overseas voting centre or by postal vote. You will be able to vote in-person at the Australian Embassy Jakarta according to this schedule. The Australian Embassy Jakarta will not be open for in-person voting on Election Day, Saturday 3 May, 2025.
- Indonesia has friendly ties with Russia. Experts say that’s not necessarily cause for alarm – The Indonesia-Russia relationship was an unusual focus for several days of the Australian federal election campaign this week after military intelligence firm Janes reported that Russia was seeking to send long-range aircraft to an air force base in Indonesia’s Papua province.

- Indonesia Jadi Tuan Rumah Piala AFF U-23 2025, SUGBK dan Stadion Patriot Jadi Venue – Indonesia resmi menjadi tuan rumah Piala AFF U-23 2025 pada 13-31 Juli mendatang. Dikutip dari laman resmi PSSI, Sabtu, 19 April 2025, Piala AFF U-23 akan diikuti oleh 12 negara yang dibagi dalam tiga grup dan pengundian fase grup akan dilakukan di Jakarta pada Jumat, 30 Mei 2025.
- Masjid Istiqlal Sediakan Ratusan Tempat Parkir untuk Jemaat Gereja selama Paskah – Pastor Kepala Katedral Jakarta Hani Rudi Hartoko mengatakan Masjid Istiqlal menyediakan kantong parkir untuk ratusan mobil jemaat gereja selama rangkaian ibadah Paskah.
- UNESCO Menetapkan 16 Geopark Baru, Dua dari Indonesia – Dewan Eksekutif Organisasi Kebudayaan, Ilmu Pengetahuan, dan Kebudayaan Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa (UNESCO) telah menyetujui penambahan 16 situs baru ke dalam jaringan UNESCO Global Geopark. Dengan keputusan ini, jumlah geopark kini mencapai 229 situs di 50 negara.

- Pelangi Indonesia School, an initiative of the Indonesian-Australian community in New South Wales, began its journey in early 2011 under the organisation Indonesian-Australian Families Association of New South Wales Incorporated (IAFA Inc.). In its operation for more than 10 years, Sekolah Indonesia Pelangi is supported by a number of volunteer teachers who are very dedicated in teaching Indonesian language and culture.
