Charles Darwin University is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Nathan Franklin to the role of Associate Vice-Chancellor (AVC) Indonesia. The newly created responsibility reflects the University’s commitment to building on its connections to its closest neighbor in the North.

- For many, Australia Day is a day of celebration of the country’s values, freedoms and entertainment. For some, particularly among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, January 26 is seen as a day commemorating the invasion by British settlers of land already owned. Mr. Eko Waluyo, a humanitarian activist who has lived in Australia for a long time, gave his opinion on the changes in the celebration of Australia Day in the past to the present day. (SBS Australia)

- The Jakarta Bintangs is an Australian Football Club with membership open to anyone, beginners are most welcome. Training is mostly held at Lapangan Bola Aldiron in Jakarta on Saturday or Sunday afternoons. On occasion, training sessions are also held Thursday nights in the GBK complex.
