Bersejarah, Indonesia Ekspor 500.000 Ton Pupuk ke Australia, Nilainya Rp 7 Triliun – Menteri Pertanian (Mentan) Andi Amran Sulaiman mengatakan, Indonesia dan Australia telah mencapai tahap awal untuk komitmen kerja sama ekspor pupuk urea sebesar 250.000 ton. Ke depan, volume ekspor pupuk dari Indonesia tersebut ditargetkan meningkat hingga 500.000 ton, dengan nilai mencapai sekitar Rp 7 triliun. [Kompas.com]

- Dfat officials ‘urgently seeking’ status of 11 Australian Gaza flotilla activists detained by Israel – On Monday local time, the Global Sumud Flotilla alleged the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) encircled 38 ships that were part of a fleet of 54 boats which left Turkey last week for the embattled strip, which remains under naval blockade by Israel. - Indonesia allocates US$564 million KUR for creative sector – Creative Economy Minister Teuku Riefky Harsya said the government has allocated Rp10 trillion (US$564.5 million) in subsidized People’s Business Credit (KUR) for intellectual property-based creative businesses in 2026. [Antaranews]
- Australian taxpayers to pay $11bn to extend lifespan of ageing Collins-class submarines amid Aukus delay – Originally designed to have a 30-year working life, the six Adelaide-built submarines have already been operational for between 23 and 30 years. The Albanese government announced in 2024 that it would undertake so-called “life of type extension” works to keep the six Collins class boats in the water for an additional 10 years. [The Guardian]
- Govt seeks release of Indonesian journalists detained by Israel – Coordinating Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration and Corrections Yusril Ihza Mahendra stated that efforts will be carried out through diplomatic and legal means, in conjunction with various international third parties. He revealed that the government is still having difficulty contacting the three journalists who are currently being held in custody. [Antaranews]
- Grattan Institute report calls for abolition of parking minimum requirements throughout Australia – The report, released tonight, recommends scrapping rules that force developers to include a minimum number of car park spaces when building housing. The “Wasted Space” report found that upwards of 40 per cent of car parks were left empty each night in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane apartments. [ABC News]
